Alternatively, both refer to acid: one means where there is a wound; the other, where there is no wound.<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' Or, swelling. ');"><sup>21</sup></span> If there is a wound it heals; if there is no wound it loosens [the teeth in the gums].
